Is there any good bands out that are still around, I personally like mellow kind of stoner rock if anyone knows any good bands like that, that are touring through Cali, hit me up.

bro i've seen incubus live twice and they've been the best experiences of my life. they have a style for everyone to enjoy, they got the hard stuff, the mellow stuff, the romantic stuff and the inspiring stuff. check them out

I wouldn't exactly call CKY mellow, although they do have some songs that might fit, they are definately my favorite live band. The post-rock genre has a lot of great live, mellow performers to offer. Do Make Say Think, Explosions in the Sky, Battles, M83, Pelican, Team Sleep and Jesu are some of my favorite bands that, at least out of the music I listen to, I would consider mellow. As for the tours, I'm not sure but I believe Team Sleep is still touring, and Pelican should be soon.

I was going to say GWAR because they rock like no other in concert, because its like a show in the sense of a blood and guts spewing on the crowd with alot of icons being ripped to pieces. I came out deaf but I came out happy (suprisingly even though my wallet got stolen at that show).

IRON MAIDEN! Their guitar is explosive live and i think they play 5X better live. To all you people that hink maiden is all intense metal, they are actually not like that. I suggest anyone who reads this go get a maiden song and see how good they are.

"and you will know us bay the trail of dead" spring to mind. ****ing awesome band. "another morning stoner" has had me tripping my balls off at many a party, though i aint seen em live to be honest. i've seen them live on tv and they did look amazing though.

i saw the who on live8 and old pete townshend's still got it. roger daltrey's voice has completely lost its edge though .

pink floyd aint the same without sid barret, and i do not give a **** what anyone says.
