Thumbs up Tom Petty

Well, tonight is the Tom Petty concert in Indianapolis and I'm f*cking stoked! I've been waiting for this day for a pretty long time now and it couldn't get any better. There are 5 of us goin' up to this thing and I've got 3 blunts and 2 joints, my buddy J has 3 blunts and 3 joints, T has 2 blunts and C has like 7 blunts. This is gonna kick ass.

Anyway! What's your favorite Tom Petty song? My top three:

1. Into the Great Wide Open
2. Running Down a Dream
3. For All the Wrong Reasons

Tom Petty... I love Tom Petty. But right now I can't listen to it because it brings back memories that I'm still trying my damndest hardest to forget about.

As for my top three songs...

1. You Don't Know How It Feels
2. Free Fallin'
3. Last Dance with Mary Jane

All three have such important meaning to me.

My ex used to tell me that Free Fallin' reminded him of me. "She's a good girl...etc. etc... loves horses, and her boyfriend, too...."

Holy ****! That concert rocked. Four of us had blunts in our hands while they searched your pockets and everything but one of my friends got his blunts taken by security. Haha, he was the last one in and everyone else that had blunts in front of him got in fine. Funny stuff. All they did was pocket his weed.

When he started to sing Last Dance with Mary Jane the place erupted. I live in Indiana and as you know... "She grew up in an Indiana town..." etc. The only bad thing is that it started to DOWNPOUR x 40 when he started to sing Don't Come Around Here No More. It was like taking a bath standing up. A lot of people ended up naked dancing in the rain and doing mudslides. Good ****ing times!

I went to the Tom Petty concert in raleigh here sunday. It was awesome, everyone in the audience was getting into it and everything. He played Mary Jane's last dance first and it was crazy, as soon as he started playing, within the first 10 seconds the weed smell hit you like a sack of friggin bricks. It was an awesome concert, and they played for over 2 hours. Half the show was the encore. He played well, sounded well,it was all in all awesome.

my favorite song is running down a dream.
