Default Yonder Mountain String Band

Has anyone ever heard of these guys? Its bluegrass-type music, which initially scared me far, far away. However, a friend actually convinced me to give them a listen, and I *cringe* actually found myself liking it. trust me, this sin'tt the "bluegrass" music your parents or grandparents might have listened to....these guys are actually all in their 20's, and cover a wide range of songs, from origianls, to Peter tosh's "legalize it" to "Life is Too Short" by Too Short. Nothing is off limits for these guys....they'll perform about anything you could imagine! Oh, and its more than obvious that they are all potheads, too.....

if you ever see them it will be much more obvious how much hey and their fans smoke. they are probably the largest straightup string bluegrass band in the 'jamband' scene nowadays. they are wonderful, and i would highly recommend them. i saw them atleast 3 times this summer im pretty sure

cant wait till the next ALL GOOD! let me know if anyone plans to attend, it might call for a big smoke out
