Ran a search and didnt find an existing thread, if i missed on just merge it please.

Anyway- for everyone who thinks Bob's lyrics and music is powerful - listen to his son Ziggy. Jah be praised- Ziggy's lyrics are just as solid, if not even more so than Bobs. If you want a sampling of Ziggys rock hard lyrics check out the following songs:

Dragonfly
Shalom Salaam
Beautiful Mother Nature

Also- was listening to Ziggy/Bob/Julian (JuJu) last night while sleeping and when i woke up i was pretty sure the song being sung had lyrics like "Lets kill religion so humans can live" or something- i can't find that song. If anyone knows what song it is PLEASE give me the name. Thanks! Found the name of the song: "In the name of God" its a great song that urges the breaking down of walls erected by religion (Ziggy makes a distinction between faith and religion) in order to unify. Good stuff- real good stuff.

Damien Marley is amazing as well......check out the new album "Welcome to jamrock" which features several of the other Marleys (Ziggy, Stephen, etc) and also many other Jamaican reggae artists...

LOl....well, when you're a "cultural icon" opprotunites for reproduction aren't exactly few and far between......to be fair, in all reality, I don't know how many or if any of the kids aren't rita's, but from what I've heard, he got around a bit on her!!

I downloaded a bunch of Ziggy's songs the otehr night, and became an instant fan. I'd heard a few songs here and there in the past but that was before I became much of a reggae fan. I was really impressed with pretty much all of it,but "Beautiful Mother Nature" and "In the Name of God" are both just amazing.....really mellow, but powerful at the same time.....

If I knew you in real life I would ***** slap you for saying Ziggy is better than Bob. No chance in hell is ****in' ziggy better than Bob. As a matter of fact, Im listening to some OLD Bob Marley with the skatalites, and its pure awsome. Ive never heard a bob marley song what wasnt perfect man.
