dude the classic rock station in orlando rocks. and when it doesn't turn it to the oldies. Here in VA the classic rock station sucks out loud

Led Zeppelin hates Stairway. Page said in an interview that the song was the one that he wishes was never written. I have to say that I agree. It's very overrated, and it's theo nly song that people think that they've done. It's good, but I can name 10 songs that Zeppelin did that are better...Stairway just covered up their other songs.

Rush is a great band. They never get airtime over here, so consider yourselves lucky.

I'm a huge huge hug fan of the Beatles, but the classic rock station only seems to play Eleanor Rigby, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Little Help From my Friends, and a few others. I'd like to see more representation of Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper and Let it Be...

There's also not enough Floyd and AC/DC.

And after listening to the Doors so much, I'm starting to wonder why I used to love them so much...

And finally, Another One Bites the Dust is very overplayed.

Jake, you'd love the classic rock station in Vancouver, they play Floyd and AC/DC more than basically any other bands, lots of Rush too. But seriously, why is Hendrix so underplayed on basically every classic rock station I've ever listened to? Anyone who wants to hear lesser known artists should check out a show called "Uncle Steven's underground garage", really good stuff.

Around here we have some pretty good classic rock stations. My best friends dads is actually the big guy on the station.

Zeppelin gets played every week night at 10o'clock but its never the songs they play during the day. They play black dog a lot here.

They dont over play a lot of songs though.

what really shouldn't be allowed to to have things like a new green day song on my local rock stations 500 top classic rock song. wakem e up when sept. ends or what ever was like 140. but i can agree this stations plays new and old but no matter what the always play the same ones it is always the same acdc song or same black sabbath song never any obscure ones

No banning Stairway, I just can't get tired of that solo. Rush is badly overplayed in Toronto, especially Fly By Night.

Well, I have been to 7 Metallica concerts and have several t-shirts, but that's more heavy metal, even though classic rock plays Metallica all the time.

ok firstly **** off if you don't like Rush, they are obviously too awesome for your own good.

secondly....well I pretty much agree with your other choices except all along the watchtower because Jimi's version is better than dylan's in my opinion


But yeah those songs there definitely get played alot. I can't remember who does this song but that Hollywood song is overplayed.

Classic rock stations basically only play like a couple songs from each band that were big hits and just replay them all the time.....they really should start getting into less played songs and live versions, rare versions, b sides, etc.

However that obviously isn't going to happen. I do like the Classic Album Sideshow that Rock 101 in Vancouver plays, they play an entire side of one album each day.

Youre embarassed to wear ZZ Top and Skynard shirts why......?
