Two things that should not be played on classic rock radio:

Logical Song-Supertramp
This is not classic rock. It's not even rock.

Anything by Bruce Springsteen
I know a lot of you will disagree with this, but Bruce Springsteen is crap. He shouldn't be lumped together with people who are actually good.

I dunno...I think its hard to really place WHAT genre Supertramp belongs in...Not exactly rock, not exactly Pop...but at least it aint Disco...lol

I won't argue on Springsteen...He's a perfect example of hype & promotion that gets airplay. Not to say I dont like some of his songs, yes I do. But he's seems overall to be the whiny poor kid that all the whiny rich kids aspire to emulate because he's "keepin it real"....Wake Up, Bruce...James Dean with a Guitar you are not.

Although I said I don't support "banning" music, anything from Jethro Tull could be taken away, and I wouldn't miss it

You should see these shirts, dude....plus ZZtop and skynyrd are just not my cup of tea anyway....i mean, yea the concerts were cool, but Im not going to walk around advertising the fact that im a skynyrd fan....when people think of skynyrd fans, they think of crazy rednecks who drink too much whiskey and ride motorcycles...and thats not me

The main classic rock station in my town is obsessed with Van Halen. Van Halen isnt horrible or anything, but not good enough to be played so often.

i have an amazing classic rock station, q1043 from new york city. on weekend mornings they take requests and just play beatles songs for a while. I reealy think rush should be taken out of their airplay thouhg, not becuase theyre not classic rock, because i hate rush. Its just so bad and i never really got into rush. They also play springsteen and bon jovi which I pretty much hate but most of their broadcasting goes to new jersey so that wont happen.

Heheh Another Q-104 fan here...If you get a chance, Dags cheeck out Jack 101.1 its pretty good, they bounce the format around enough you don't what the hell you gonna hear next.

As far as the Springsteen stuff goes, I try not to listen to him at all if i can help it...not after that "41 Shots" song...as for Bon Jovi they are ok, but i agree, not nearly THAT good to be "classic" just yet...MAYBE in another 20 years.

Do you have pictures of them, or do you have a link to an image of it?

I generally don't wear band shirts because I don't want to be judged for my taste of music, though I do wear a Beatle's Let it Be shirt, and a Zeppelin one. I owuld get a Rush one if any store/person/radio station in Maryland knew who they were. Because I don't think they actually exist over here. I would love ot get a Rush shirt from you.
