Hey, just picked up the new Damien "Jr Gong" Marley CD "Welcome to Jamrock"....its an exellent release, and a must have for reggae/dancehall fans. Its not a "roots" reggae like tosh or bob marley, but its not really dancehall ala Sean paul either...its a happy middle ground that works well!!!

I totally thought I started a page on this when I got the CD a week ago....lol. This ablum is dope...ur right TMK, this is a must have...

Yup....few reggae albums are as well put together as this one....most have a few good tunes and a lot of filler,but I think practically any song on this album could e released as a single and do fairly well

I like the track "move", "pimpass paradise", and "confrontation"...I tried to post about this CD..but I guess this is the "official one" lol! :-)

Some songs he has dance-ish beats and a sean paul-ish sound, but it's "sean-paul style done RIGHT". It's like how Sean Paul used to be when the movie "Belly" was made

This CD POUNDS on my Alpine and Diamond Audio system in my ride. . . DaDornta gives two joints up!
