Default real music

In the 60's a musical revolution was born. I love to listen to all of the classics: to be specific... Greatful dead, Rolling stones, Led Zepplin , the Beatles, The Allman Brothers, Deep purple, Pink Floyd (early and later), Hendrix, omg i could go on forever about that awsome era and its music... today i am very skeptical about the music we produce though i do have a few modern favs... PHISH why oh why did it have to end... string cheese, umphrey's, and if you like regaee check out MATISYAHU. dude hes dope... yeah music is life pretty much.
peace and love .j

I'm still in a heavy reggae/dancehall phase, that started over a year ago when i was getting ready for my honeymoon to jamaica. Anything from the classics like Tosh and Bob Marley to stuff like Sean Paul, Damian and Ziggy Marley, Beenie Man, and pretty much anything in between....since most of it was made under the ganja influence, it sounds awesome high, but good when your not stoned too!

yea...ill listen to basically anything from 1950s (gotta love Thelonius Monk and John Coltrane ) up until about the mid 70s (besides the Dead, but that goes without saying)...and recently ive been to a few jam band shows, ie Keller Williams, SCI, YMSB, Michael Franti+Spearhead, the list continues. but yea, something about all the music from the 60s-70s...just so much heart was put into the music, and its very sad to not really see that these days. not to mention...there wasnt any of that mtv bull**** so no one really had a say in what was cool or whats in style this year. fudge that. its all about what interests you, and well, peace and love does it for me

later

I personally love all sorts of music when I blaze, some have been mentioned here.

First and foremost, I have to give respect and credit to the legendary Bob Marley. I have been a huge fan of him long before I began to blaze, but he's even better when I'm in the Mellow Mood.

You can't beat classic rock either. Zeppelin, Neil Young, later Beatles, The Who, The Guess Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd (Free Bird is amazing baked...AMAZING), Queen....classic rock was made for burning.

Other artists I enjoy are Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, AC/DC, Beastie Boys, The Tragically Hip, Audioslave, Blur, Nirvana, G. Love & Special Sauce, Sam Roberts, The Stone Roses, and of course Sublime.

I do have a couple special mentions. First is Jamiroquai. Just a very fun, funky style of music. He is cool ****. Secondly, Green Day has some great burning music, especially my favourite combination of Brain Stew/Jaded. I listen to that combo almost every session, and it kicks ass every time.
