Default Has anyone heard of Golfrapp??

Goldfrapp.com

Just wondering who out there has heard of the band called Goldfrapp being that it's one of my favorite bands of the moment. Their first album "Felt Mountain" , was a very gloomy and eerie, sonically charged masterpice. It has a lot of electronica influences and some have said that they resemble the sounds of Bjork and Portishead. A very good album nonetheless.
Their second album "Black Cherry" and their latest album "Supernature" were a bold and daring move on Goldfrapp's part to change their sound to a more pop/electronica/rock sound. Their music sounds fresh and it shows that the group, Consisting of the singer, Alison Goldfrapp, and the producer/musician, Will Gregory, are not afraid to venture out of the ordinary and into the world of experimental sounds and perfected beats.
I highly suggest a listen of their music.

I've heard good things about them recently. Will definitely check them out. In that same vein you should check out Morcheeba, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Thievery Corporation and Massive Attack among others.

Fairly good. Seems like the songs are pretty similar though.
