When will Dr. Dre Release Detox??

Dre dropped his first album called the Chronic in 1992, 7 years later he dropped his next album Chonic 2001 in 1999. 7 years from 1999 equals 2006!!!! Therefore Detox will be released in 2006!

My next point: (this backs up the other point)

In the song, "the Documentary" The Game raps the following:

"I'm the second dopest nigga from Compton you'll ever hear. The first nigga only put out albums every 7 years, ha ha."

The Game is talking obviously talking about Dr. Dre (Who is the best rapper from compton, no questions asked...) therefore Dr. Dre should release Detox in 2006!

I heard Dre was done with rapping and was sticking to producing now. I heard that Detox album is on permanent hold. Just what I hear, hope he does release it sometime soon tho.

Yah no doubt Game was talking about Dr Dre in them lyrics. but yah about damn time if the album is really dropin in 2006. Dre just kicks back and does things at his own pace anymore.

I heard that he's resumed work on it. Their has been a leaked version of it, but its just some of his more recent **** that can be found on mixtapes. Some i havnt heard before, so maybe they are from the Detox album. BUt then again, i doubt ive heard every dre track....

Detox is indeed dropping this year. i don't know a specific date yet, but there's already a DREtox mixtape floating around. i have it, and if its any indication of what to expect from Detox, Dre fans shouldn't be disappointed.

As of right now, Detox doesn't have an official release date. I'm thinking late 2006 more than likely.

But it is indeed in the works

They said back in August that that album would be released in October, so who knows.. The album, whenever its released is gunna be SICK.

I don't listen to rap much but Dre was always one of my favorite rappers and made sure i owned a copy of his albums. It's about time hes comin back with something new. The first "chronic" album that came out was a hit, Snoops "doggy style" album featurin dre in some of the songs made it a really good album as well and "Chronic 2001" wasn't a failure either. Keepin fans waiting 7 years before producing another album i don't see how it could be a disappointment.

The other day for some unkonw reason I was listining to the radio and they happened to play some old school dre while I was at a stoplight. I started bumping it and the the dude sitting the next me tuned in and turned his sh*t up too. By the time the light turned green about 7 of the 10 cars were all bumping Dr. Dre.

Dre seriously needs to release a new album.
