This is a three day non-stop music festival. You can assume what you would like about the drug usage here. For the record I would like to say that Bonnaroo prohibits drug use, and takes private vending very seriously.

It going to be a great year for Bonnaroo, and more acts will announce until the show begins, June 16th- June18th.

Oh man, I cannot wait to make the 15-hour trip from ct! Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Oysterhead, Disco Biscuits, Balkan Beat Box, Mike Gordan, and Medeski Martin and Wood will be there. The show is so sick this year, the crowd will be so mixed with Radiohead headlining. I am very stoked.

At this point I'm kind of torn on whether to go to Bonnaroo or not. I'm only going to be able to hit a few festivals this summer because of work. The lineup sounds sick, but I'm more a fan of the smaller more laid back festival, so we'll see.

na hell no, i went the last two years and last year it was horrible. I just can't stand how big that place is, how hot and humid it is, how dirty everything is, how trapped in you are if you would want to leave early and how there are wayyyy more frat kids/kids just going to do drugs than at any other festival iv been to (which makes a lot of sense witht the size and variety of bands). for me it is also a 20 hour drive. I had alot more fun in 2004, but most likely because I went with people that were much less responsible and did alot more partying, and so did i, but this recent time it was with my girlfriend who although shes gone to like 7 festivals with me isn't all that into the camping and putting your body through such extremes to see tons of music. this summer is going to be smaller for me, I went to 5 festivals last summer but this one I am most likely only going to Moe.Down, the NY Harvest Fest, and most likely the Gathering of the Vibes (as long as the line up is good)

S&M - i would recommend All Good in WV right near you if you havent been to that, really nice and chill, still pretty good sized but nowhere near as ridiculous as bonnaroo and its on a really beautiful site

I am extremly excited about Disco Biscuits and Clap Your hands say yeah, but I mean you have to love Elvis Costello and the Imposters, and Tom Petty and the heartbreakers. Maybe a little Damian Marley, Matisyahu. Common and Atmosphere. Amazing.

The way I see it is that I will be in that less responsible category Jack was talking about. I will be so out of it and into the music, that a festival full of frat guys couldn't ruin it for me.

It will be hot though, and humid, and dirty, but that's what wet-wipes are for, right?

one thing i forgot to mention is that I would say during this there is the BEST selection of incredible heady glass at one time, probably in the east at least. there is sooo much shakedown filled with so much glass, if anyone were to actually get everywhere and see everything they would see the most incredible shit

I wonder if there are deals on glass better than they would be at a headshop? If the prices are low enough, I'm going to buy a bubbler and a bong, among other off-topic things.
