There's a band located in the Mid-Atlantic reagion of the US called Several Species and they put on an all out Pink floyd extravaganza. They play literally everything from Floyd, anything from The Wall to Meddle, to Atom Heart Mother. At every show you are promised The Wall played beginning to end and always a little Darkside. They also have an amazing light show and usually will show some of the trippy ass carton clips from the wall on the monitors. Let me just say now that I am a critic when it comes to my music and especially when someone is trying to do Floyd. I will burn a J and listen to every beat and every note in a song and critique it. This band is downright insane. This is Floyd. This is the real shit here, they hit every single god damn note, they know every song. They played the entire Atom Heart Mother suite and all you could hope to expect was something close to realistic of the album version. Several Species played the entire suite and nailed it. They went beyond realistic. They had all the effects, everything in tune... silence in the studio, everything. So wild. I love this band. If you live in Maryland Pa or Va keep an eye on their site and make sure you dont miss a show in this area that they play. I will give you all my soul if you are not satisfied with this group.
