Go to the library with a couple of your band mates, find a book that all of you think has a certain signifigance or meaning, and read it. Phrases, ideas, and concepts from books will help inspire you. Some books are better than others at this. So look around. You'll know a good book when you see it.

Or poetry. Poetry can inspire many different ideas and phrases.

Plus, when people ask how you came up with your name, how cool would it be to say: "its based on a poem that me and my friends found meaningful"

for some reason, probably because im stoned i think the band name No Standing sounds really good
i was thinking like thoses signs sometimes near prison yards that say likie "NO Standing: 10am-4pm"
im pretty sure they are so you dont go and talk to the prisoners in the yard and all but its still funny
