vocals aren't quite as important. I like Floyd, Deltron 3030, Opeth, 311, Phish, Hendrix, Marlley, the list goes on and on.

being a classic rock addict there are a bunch of specific albums and songs that are sick, and since there's a general group of songs that everyone's heard and i'm assuming they know (e.g., white rabbit, purple haze, lucy in the sky with diamonds) im just going to skip those
so here goes, an (incomplete) guide to classic rock to listen to while high

hendrix -- are you experienced (the song and the album), spec. songs -- burning of the midnight lamp, bold as love, all along the watchtower

cream -- disraeli gears (the whole cd), spec. songs -- white room, world of pain, tales of brave ulysses

beatles -- spec. songs -- a day in the life, lovely rita, magical mystery tour (the song)

crosby stills and nash (and sometimes young) -- so far (whole cd) marrakesh express, wooden ships, helplessly hoping

led zeppelin -- led zeppelin one (whole cd) spec. songs -- thank you (SICK), when the levee breaks, tangerine

some other single songs that are ridiculously good are mr. tambourine man (the byrds, not dylan), fire and rain (james taylor), captain jack (billy joel), piece of my heart (janis joplin, spec. big brother and the holding company), every breath you take (the police), the end (the doors)

pink floyd, bob marley, and grateful dead are all good, all the time

any stoner who hasn't heard "captain jack", "are you experienced" (the song), or "thank you" is really missing out, and i strongly urge you to listen to these songs the next time you get high
