| Forget Cam and Jay-z. When I first heard this dude spit a while ago I realized he is the best line for line rapper. I mean Papoose is the past, present, and future. He neva even came out wit any official album and his mixtapes is sounding better that 75% of the rap material out there. If yall eva heard of this lyrical assasin, I jus wanna know wat yall people think of him. |

| I'll have to take exception to that one. I think Consequence is the future. He ges the best production in the industry via Kanye West. Check out his Take Em to the Cleaners mixtape. Take out some of the skits and you have a full fledged commerical rap album that would go platinum. ![]() |

| I agree completely with 2point4 as well. Although I must agree with you too. Papoose is a lyrical arsonist, but his whole up and coming relies completely on who picks him up. If he could be on the Roc-a-fella label, then he will be HUGE and a gift to the mainstream world. FreeUpJahCure- It has come to my attention that you only like dudes coming out of NY, seems a bit biased.

| Let me make an addition to Consequence. Rhymefest. I'll agree with ADIDAS that it largely depends on who picks these guys up, but I think Rhymefest will be successful even if he is cursed with the same problems Busta Rhymes has dealt with. I don't think anybody knew exactly how to promote the guy, which amazes me...but he's a damn fine rapper. This, however, is a new age of rap and music alltogether. It used to be that the artists wouldn't make scratch compared to what the labels made...and although that is still true, a lot of artists are starting their own labels to turn the tide here. No doubt that everyone is in it to make money for themselves, but with rappers having their own labels, I'd like to think more of the money is shared. |

Lol, nah thats not even the case. I guess because im from NY I can relate 2 the artist that are from here better. There flow is how I like it.....wit alotta metaphors, similies and real shit. But im not biased at all. I think Young Jeezy is anotha hot artist. Game is nasty too. And the best that I think that ever did it was Pac. So it aint no way im biased. | |
