I don't remember seeing a thread for this, so I decided to create one.

Anyone else out there liking this cd ?

I'd have to say it's their best album (since their 1st one). I picked up the official copy today along with the new Tool cd, and I have to say, I'm liking the Godsmack cd more than Tool's.

Those two bands are hardly comparable, tbh. Everybody is entitled to their opinions and the fact I haven't heard Godsmack's CD is reason enough not to take my opinion too serious.

I wasn't really trying to compare the two bands, just saying that I was enjoying the Godsmack cd more than Tool's. Not trying to take anything away from Tool or their cd, because it's good too.

I love Godsmack. Been to two of their concerts, they kick ass. I haven't heard the new album, but I will get right on that

Ok, so I got on that, and the new album kicks ASS!!! I can't wait to see them in concert again.

Me too. I've seen them in concert once, and it was one of the better one's I've been to.

They came here to play an acoustic show at the Strand Theatre (it was built for orchestras to play so the acoustics of it are perfect) it was awesome...it was real laid back and everyone was chilled out in their seats, the band let people ask them questions about anything except their relegion and how they came up with the name Godsmack...probably my best concert going experience to date....

Comparing Tool to Godsmack is like Cannabis Cup weed (Tool) vs. Cannabis Ruderalis (Godsmack).

Every single member of Tool has a college degree...their music is so intelligent compared to Godsmack. One member of Tool has more talent in one finger than all of Godsmack combined...not to say that Godsmack sucks, Tool is just that good.
