I am looking for a program and maybe some advice on the program to make some hiphop beats on my own. I have used Fruity Loops but it is just way over my head. I can get a sample on there, but as for anything else Im left in the dark. So if anyone uses any other programs or can just help me make a dope sample I would much much much appreciate it.

Fruity Loops, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition...

You wont be able to create beats with cheap apps, you will just be using pre-made loops or beats and arranging them to your needs.

So are you saying that those programs listed are cheap or other programs are cheap? As I said, I have Fruity Loops but it is way over my head. Have you used it before?

Well Im downloading the Adobe Audition right now so Im gonna see if that is any easier than Fruity Loops. My main problem with FL is that it only goes 64 bars.

Audition does unlimited tracks, you should be good to go.

ive always used fruity loops to make beats and stuff. whenever im actually recording something or editing something i definitely use pro tools. even though pro tools and fruity loops arent cheap they are well worth it. or you can just download them for free.

So can you offer any advice or step by step on making beats and using samples? I realize it would be tough to type, but I am looking for a pretty generic guide, so if you ever get bored come back to this thread.

ACIDPro can be useful as well. Although I'm pretty sure Audition has similar capabilities (never used audition yet).
