Wow are you serious. Just because he isnt a dime a dozen rapper doesnt mean he isnt one of the best. He has such a unique choice of lyrics and flow, plus his production off of The Carter II is a masterpiece. He has tons of real dope lines, you must have him mistakin for Lil Flip or something.

I don't think anyone can listen to a lil wayne verse and say that he doesn't have sick lyrics.

His flow is just unique I suppose, I mean it's not that hard to flow like 50... wayne just doesn't wanna be like every other rapper.

And yes, his voice is whiny and somewhat annoying. But damn...

Yeah I just downloaded The Carter II last night and am loving it. I got hooked on Lil Wayne when I first got Lights Out(still my favorite wayne CD most likely). He has great lyrics and a unique flow(in a good way). I would rather listen to him then a dozen 50 clones.

People who wouldn't relate and associate with his lyrics would include A) people too old (my parents) B) people too young (my four year old nephew) C) Rich people (Bill Gates, Donald Trump) D) Terribly suburbanized conservatists who wouldn't understand a word of the slang used E) Dumb people (George Bush)

To me, if you can't at least appreciate his lyrics (not his songs, or flow, or voice but his LYRICS) then you probably fit into one of those categories.

I saw nothing ignorant about that post, nor did I see anything prickish about my attitude.

Common sense is a virtue, and logistics is a guiding light to success!

EDIT: Even the original poster, who clearly dislikes weezy, didn't say anything about his lyrics. He just complained that they didn't flow (arguably, some times) and that he's got an annoying voice.
