| Les is the man. Some of my favs are Southbound Pachyderm, Mr. Knowitall, Ballad of the Bodacious, Frizzle Fry, Buckethead, Jerry was a Race Car Driver, Spaghetti Western, My Name is Mud, and their cover of The Thing That Should Never Be is amazing. |

| I'm not going to come on here and say I'm a huge fan, because I'm not. I was at HMV a while back looking through the 3/$30 section and I had 2 CDs picked out. I was having a hard time finding a third that would be worthwhile. "Tales From the Punchbowl" was in there and I had heard some good things about them so I thought I'd check them out. They turned out to be quite the interesting band! I've really grown to like "Professor Nutbutter's House Of Treats" and "De Anza Jig"! |

| I've been in love with Primus since I was about 10 and I heard Pork Soda for the first time. Les Claypool is a musical god. Brain's drumming is perfect for the band...I love the triplet rolls on the double bass drum that go perfectly with the triplet rolls being slapped out, like on Tommy the Cat. Oysterhead is cool too but Primus is way better. |

yea ive liked primus since frizzle fry. im a huge fan and want to see them live but never came close to where i live so i never got to see them on tour, so i just bought all their dvds. anything primus puts out is excellent, except things that sound anything like anti-pop, that was a huge dissapointment. Did You Know: Primus is its own genre of music on limewire. | |

| Primus played Kalamazoo in May (or maybe even June) of 2000...I know because they shot a video there...probably Laquer Head. Also because everyone I know was at that concert except for me lol. And I always thought they had the same drummer. I thought they called him Herb sometimes and Brain other times. I just remember looking at the "band info" inside the CD fold-out things and it always said "Brain" for drums. The only CD I never bought by Primus is the brown album so I didn't see it there. EDIT: I just checked it out and I have one version of Tommy the Cat where it starts with Les saying, "Where you goin' Herb?" Then I have another version of Tommy the Cat where Les stops after his solo and says, "Ladies and gentleman, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the man, the myth, the psuedo-mexican...Brain." After that a drum solo starts a kickin'. I see why I was confused ![]() |

| Primus is awesome. Anything with Les in it is worth checking out. I heard that Les Claypool's Fancy Band is coming out with an album on May 30th. Oysterhead and Frog Brigade are my favorite Les Claypool side projects.

| I actually like the album Les did as the band "Sausage" entitled The Riddles are Abound Tonight, if I remember correctly, haven't dug it outta my stash in a few years. Pork Soda is probably my favorite, however I don't know if I've listened to them all thouroughly, but nothing can top Mr Krinkle, My name is Mud, BMV, and shit the other one... the paranoid person one.. fuck WTF is the name of that... ahh well.. screw google, I'm not looking ![]()
