when shitty music receives awards like grammys or an oscar. granted, 3-6 is better than most top 40 rap, but still

when people like songs because of some stupid repetition, like that crap, i dont know the name or the rapper, but he's like i do what do because i do what i do but i do it like im doing it for tv, or some stupid bullshit like that.

and when people dont vote

it all depends really, music is aimed at certain markets which believe me do exist or the record companies wouldn't be investing in them. i don't like the repetitive shit, i can't stand e-40 normally. pour copious ammounts of booze into me and that repetitive shit is all i want, i don't wanna listen to complex lyrics i just wanna jump around and get 'dumb' as you yanks would call it.

alot of people don't vote because they believe that their vote won't make a difference, and when the candidates are either a wanker or a bigger wanker they don't see a point.

The Roots, Kanye West, Young MC, Nelly, Eminem, Jay-Z, The Fugees, and P. Diddy. And Will Smith if he counts.

Bottom line, the Grammy's don't know hip-hop.

I am also not a fan of rap, but I wont deny the fact that some of them are quite talented lyricists. As for people with 'lil' in their name, it seems very unoriginal to me. You'd think they would be a little more creative.

hate for me is just a figure of speech. if i dont like it, i hate it. ill agree with alot of you guys that when in a little hopped on some off-topic theres nothing quite as awesome as a simple-and-louder-than-it-needs-to-be bass line.

but.

after experiencing some of the finer lyricists that have ever graced the planet, continuous mumbling and ego projections just dont cut it. we've had this talk before, Blunted.

Exactly. I can't say I've ever heard anyone with Lil in their name, but that's completely by choice. I can't stand music that isn't original (4/4 timing with 4 notes in the bass line in a minor scale...damn geniuses!) but I CAN'T STAND lyrics that are entirely self-promoting and bullshit. It seems like all main stream rap is self-promoting bullshit. The thing that pisses me off is that people who actually have something to say, like Deltron or Mos Def or The Roots to name a few, never get any recognition for breaking away from the same old crap that you hear on the radio all the time.

Disc golf is a game made for stoners.

With the exception of buying a disc ($4-$20, but it is rather easy to find an abandoned one on the course) disc golf is completely free.

Its like golfing, except no balls or clubs, you throw a disc hundreds of feet through the air to try to get it into a "Hole" of sorts which is more like a basket for the disc.

The courses are large like regular golf with an average of 18 holes a course. Distance to the holes can be between 200 and 600 feet.

On a disc golf course the regular rules of society no longer apply.

Smoking of marijuana is done freely in the open on the disc golf course, and most of the people on the course will be smoking marijuana as well.

The first thing a stranger said to me, the second I walked on my first disc golf course "Hey man, do you got any spare papers I could have"
