I posted previously about a KMK concert I was going to, but plans have changed. Since ANY concert I attend requires a min. 2-3 road trip, I can't really afford to goto twoof them in 2 weeks time.....soKMK got bumped. Instead, my best friend, wife and I are going to see Rob Zombie and Anthrax. Not a huge Anthrax fan, but Ive been a RZ fan since the early days of White Zombie. ANyone ever seen either group in concert? I know a few people who have seen Zombie,and said his live shows are amazing. I hope its a kick ass concert. Chances are, we'll be completely smoked out for the concert....since I've smoked more weed in my life with those two than all the other people I've smoked with combined!!!!!!!!!!

i saw Rob Zobie at the same concert i saw the Red hot chili peppers the other day. he was awesome, he came off stage and walked around in the crowd. he came to the row in front of me where my cousin and her boyfriend were sitting. if you get the l.a. times for the KROQ weenie roast youll see a picture of rob zombie in the crowd and you only see one fans face directly in the picture and it happens to be my cousin.

Zombi has the BEST stage shows. I have seen him 3 times and every time i was just amazed. He brought out these big robots and just a lot of shit going on really a great show. Even if I wasnt on thoes offtopic fungi the show was a TRIP!! Enjoy yourself!!

Cool.....sounds like I'm making the right choice! From what I've heard, pretty much every KMK show is identical to the one before it....very few setlist deviations and things of that nature. I'm assuming Zombie plays some of the more popular White Zombie tunes in addition to his current stuff? (Educated horses wasn't my favorite album but him, that much is certain).

As far as Anthrax goes.....I couldn't tell you a single song hey've done in probably the past 10 years....I DO remember "I'm the Man" "I'm the Law" "Starting up a posse" and "Potters Field", and of course "Bring the Noize". I think I've only owned one Anthrax CD "Attack of the Killer B's"

I've seen both and I personally would want to see kmk more. Nothing against Rob Zombie, because that was a kickass show also, I just have more fun at kmk shows. Everybody is smoking weed and they just give a better concert then anybody i've ever seen.

Word KmKToker420...I have a huge "Suburban Noize" logo 26" across the back window of my car...done in "reflective white" so at night it's nearly painfull to look at.

I'm bleedin KMK shit till the day I die. I feel like I wrote the shit myself when I hear it. That takes mad skill to pull off.

I'd love to see both....but the thing is, I want my best friend to actually leave the tiny little town where he lives once in awhile, and although he is also a KMK fan, hes really into both Zombie and Anthrax. My wife is also more into Zombie, so, me, in the interest of having an awesome time with botyh of them, thought Zombie would be the better choice. its a 100 miles closer than KMK as well, which, with gas prices the way they are, is something to consider as well.

i would def say you are making the right choice. rob zombie goes all out, i haven't seen him since Ozzfest 99 but I bet he still puts on an incredible show. i have seen KMK too and i just don't really like it, it seems like such a "trendy drug use" type scene. there was moshing at a show dedicated to herb, how does that work?? it seems like a mix of people trying to be cool because they are either tough/angry or smoke pot. if you want a drugish concert i would recommend either a reggae or "jam" show, where people do drugs for the effects and to be relaxed, happy and enjoying the current musical experience instead of being all angry and stoned, but thats just me. I haven't seen KMK since 2003 either though.

I never understood "moshing". Why risk your wellbeing and wish ill will on others at a concert you paid lots of money and really wanted to see?

KMK simply resonates with me on a deep level, and I'd probably only see the scene I wanted to see if I were to see them live.
