Despite this minor setback, Blunt has enjoyed phenomenal success since his voice first emanated from radio stations across the world last year.

"You're Beautiful" topped the charts in 25 countries.

In March, the former army officer became the first British artist to reach the number one slot in the US Billboard chart in nine years.

His album, "Back To Bedlam" has sold more than seven million copies worldwide.

If they banned all bad music from most top 40 stations there would be a lot of awkward silences.

Maybe this will get record companies to stop telling us what we want to listen to.

In the perfect world, this would happen. Unfortunately, too many people buy into this crock load of shit. James Blunt's album is a top seller, afterall. It's all in the marketing of things.

I think it's so great a station banned the Blunt. He's terrible.

This is why I don't listen to the radio, though I have no argument against them banning his music. His voice is pretty annoying...I wouldn't be singing about how beautiful someone is in falsetto.
