King of the South?


This is very very very tough.

For me it's either Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, or Slim Thug.


Since I haven't heard a lot of Rick Ross I eliminate him.

Slim Thug is hit or miss with me. I really like a lot of his songs but some I don't.


Lil Wayne vs Young Jeezy is tough, but I went with Young Jeezy. Just like his style better and his voice.

I agree with 2 of those, TI's not bad though. Not great either.


Mike Jones is the absolute worst rapper alive though. NO DOUBT, I fuckin hate that guy.(Don't hate, just really really really dislike)

ill give it to my boy weezy. i like TI, that was a bangin album, but you gotta have a subwoofer in the car to appreciate it fully, duno if you have one though. the yung joc CD wasnt too bad either, see me comin was a good one, and so were alot of the other songs

the carter II beats out 3 6 mafia's album without a hassle, jeezy is the shit too, same with luda, both have albums that are banging.

I was disapointed in both TI and Yung Joc's cds. Both have only 3-4 songs I'll listen to. Yung Joc's cd was straight trash IMO, I only like 3 songs off it 1 which was his hit single. Jeezy's cd though, I still listen to. I CAN NOT wait til his next cd drops.

You just mentioned a bunch of newbies, and a lot of 'em from Texas. Real Southerners know that Texas is not the South, it's just Texas.

I could only include 12. IMO I think all I mentioned are better than what you listed. If anything I shoulda left out Mike Jones in favor of Juvenile or Master P.


coincidence, I just bought Young Buck's cd the other week. I heard most of the songs but I also have been bumping that lately.
