That's the type of shit that pisses me off so much.

I would have sacrificed a limb to go see The Mars Volta but the fucking tickets sold out before they even went on sale (thanks RHCP pre-sale). I hate it when people who don't even care about the band get tickets and fuck over people who want to see them more than anything.

I wish TMV would just tour alone instead of with huge bands. They've toured with A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, and now RHCP. Those bands have such huge followings that people will just buy the tickets because they now they can resell them later and double their money.

Until TMV tours alone I'll just have to click my sig and dream

Hahhaah well I made the mistake of getting these tickets months and months before the show- since I am and was a huge fan of the RHCP and they never tour. But when the time came around I just wasn't interested in going to a concert... idk... Just the thought of being trapped there for hours.

I saw The Mars Volta when they were touring by themselves a couple years ago when they first came out... REALLY good show. If TMV were to come around again I would def go. I remember the tickets then were about $20 and when they came around with the peppers of course the tickets were like $55 each + convenience charge... I hate when bands get big!
