Does ABBA really deserve a museum?!?!?!?!?!

It took organisers two years to convince the foursome, who continue to sell nearly three million records each year, that the project was a good idea.

Band donation

The couple behind the project, Ulf Westman and his wife, Ewa Wigenheim-Westman came up with the idea after visiting the Beatles museum in Liverpool.

The group - Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Reuss - split up in 1982. They will donate material for the exhibits, but they will not be involved in any other way with the project.

Stockholm mayor Kristina Axen Olin believes the museum will attract 500,000 people a year.

"We are convinced that this is important both for Stockholm citizens and for marketing the city," she said.

Yeah but they're probably Gods in Sweden. Up there with Volvo and Ikea haha. The way I see it, if there's someone out there willing to build a museum after someone then they probably deserve it haha. A MUSEUM for fuck sakes haha.

It would be awesome if NORML was rich enough to set up weed museums through the States. Anslinger would be portrayed as Hitler would in a WW2 Museum. It would spread the word and offer free admissions. That would get shit going.

Im sure the reason its over there is because they have to be more popular over there. An ABBA museum in the U.S. would be a pretty stupid idea.
