| Pick this CD up. Its called Hellyeah by well Hellyeah. I thought the clever was rather funny, and obviously a joke with such an outlandishly 'metal' name. Touche to them ![]() I bought it 2 days ago and it's been playing nonstop since then. Even took precedent over the new NIN cd I got today haha. Anyways, its the singer and guitarist of Mudvayne, the guitarist and bassist of Nothingface and the drummer, Vinne Paul of Pantera. My favorite song is Alcohaulin' Ass. "A little bit o' whisky, A little bit o' chew" Ah, such a good CD, reminds me of listening to Pantera and Mudvayne as a kid with such angst and energy. Anyone else get this yet?

| got it, but haven't listened to it yet.....heard one song so far I think (no idea what the title was) and it didn't do it for me. I'll have to give the rest of it a listen and hope the track I heard was just a fluke. I guess i was hoping form something like "Rebel meets Rebel" which I think is a kick-ass album

| So I've had it for like a week and it's still in heavy rotation (along with new NIN and a few favorites). The album is very simplistic, a straight up heavy metal album - no frills, I don't even know if there were any 'significant' guitar solos. They are going on tour this summer on the Family Value Tours, suprisingly Korn will be headlining. Korn really has lost their origional value, but that is a whole nother story. |

| Were you ever a fan of mudvayne TM? I'm not big on their newer stuff but the album L.D. 50 is absolutely awesome. If you don't have that you should really get it. The whole album revolves around pyschadelics, in fact the chemical dna molecules on the cover are of lsd, thc and dmt. There are a few segements of terrence mckenna giving speeches about drugs. Yes, Alcohaulin' Ass is sweet. Very catchy and heavy. But did you enjoy the album as a whole? The song Thank You is in tribute of Dimebag Darrell. |

| I haven't given the rest of the album a fair listen. I've been too busy dragging out all my camping/fishing supplies for 4/20. I can't wait! So far, the weather is supposed to be in the upper 60's, with a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Any storms, and we're just going to have to wait things out.....I can't see any of us going anywhere with a headful of kind bud and psilscybin!!! |
