Now, here in SD, we don't get a lot of concert tours coming through. Every once in awhile, we'lll get some big name acts at the Sturgis Motorcycle Ralley, and last summer, for example we got Rob Zombie and KMK. However, the usual story is that no one I care to see comes to SD, at least not on a regular basis. However, this summer is shaping out to be MUCH better. So far, ICP and Twiztid are coming on the Tempest tour. I know ICP gets a lot of hate here, but I've been listening to them since the Great Milenko came out, and count myself as a fan. They did come to SD, and I did see them, but that was back in 96 or so! The other group I'm exited to see I also saw last year. KMK is coming back to SD this summer!!!!!!! However, they are bringing a serious line-up of people I like.....KMK and Tech N9ne are the headliners, but Hed Pe (saw 'em with KMK last summer...put one one HELL of a show) Blaze ya DEad homie, and Subnoize Souljas are all performing as well!!! For a fun of this kind of music, its awesome to see so many acts I actually care about coming to SD!!!

Yea its really nice to have a lot of cool bands come around. This summer I know that Roger Waters, Rush, and The Wailers (Bob Marleys old band!!!) are coming to WI.

I think Ill probably go see Roger Waters and The Wailers because they play on the same day at Summerfest...should be a fun day.

We don't have concerts in Alaska.

I am going down to the lower 48 (YAY!!!!) on May 9th, and I am gonna see Modest Mouse in Arizona. I think the concert is the 11th or 12th. I love MM, they are awesome.

I'm excited, not only to get away from the AK for a bit but to see what the real world looks like.

I went to Ozzfest 06 in NYC, Randall's Island last year. That shit was dope! I've also seen A Perfect Circle and The Mars Volta in concert, but I know more will come with age.

Oh yeah TM42, I know I told you this before but my family is from the Dakotas/MN and we make it to Sturgis every year, or at least every other year. I love that place, so many motorcycles I can remember loving it as a kid eating hotdogs watching all the badass's roll into town. Hopefully we are going this year

I heard something to the effect that Ozzie was doing a free Oz Fest this year. Something about buying his new cd and you get a code for a free Oz Fest admission. Don't remember exact details. I overheard it on the TV while I was doing something else.

Yes, ozzfest is free.

You can still expect to pay 5 dollars for a bottle of Dasani and 30 dollars for a band t-shirt.

Ozzfest is just so commercial now adays. I couldn't believe it when I went there, music videos playing, people selling countless pricey shit (althogh they had ALOT of GLASS for sale, I got 2 pipes at the end of the show)

I know for sure I'm going to Incubus this summer, which I'm really excited to go to. I know 311 is coming with Matisyahu, but I'm not sure if I'm going to that. Other bands that are coming are OAR and Wolfmother, but I don't think I'm going to see them either. I know ICP is coming but I'm really not a fan of them haha

Spiral - I'd love to see Modest Mouse, they have some good new stuff

Yeah the new MM is pretty good. Really different, and actually kind of 'heavy' in parts. I like it but I love their older stuff even more.

Oh yeah and I heard that RATM is getting back together!!!! I think it's just for this tour not an album, but I can still hope, right?

I totally forgot about that because my friend told me when I was drunk and I was so excited, jumped up and pumped my fist but of course I got wasted so I forgot until you mentioned it!
