my boy whos started getting recorded, what do you guys think?

I like his voice.

His rhyme scheme is simple, his lyrics lack good vocabulary and much of any creativity.
His flow is a little off at parts, messing up around the snare, rushing some lines with too many syllables, or stretching out some lines with not enough syllables.

The beats sounds free, and cheezy...the recording is non-professional and the overdub is pretty bad. I'm sure he's using Cool Edit Pro to record? He should look around the internet for some good tips on how to get studio quality using Cool Edit.

EDIT: Yea, the beats are definitely free. The Marked for Death beat is years old, I think I tried using that as some inspiration for one of my songs

Oh god...Is he really bragging in a song about being in the top 8 on myspace?!

yeah he doesnt have much cash n is back in school now. and the top 8 song is like a joke about ppl like that
