Can anyone give me the names of some good reggae artists or songs to look up. Not including Bob Marley...have all his tunes already, and have a couple by Shabba Ranks but looking for some more good ones by him also.

Steel pulse would be my favorite. Try "roller skates", "higher than high" or " are you feeling Irie", those are my favorite songs by them. Also peter tosh or damian marly.

Sublime has a reggae/ska sound. Real nice when mixed with herb.

And of course I have to mention THE TOYES.

Steel Pulse is good. I saw them in at the Pacific Amphitheater many moons ago.

yeah word, steel pulse frickin rules,but those are some of their worst songs IMO

there is an artist i really like called Scientist. he has an album called scientist rids the world of the evil curse of the vampres. its good stuff.
and this guy named lee scratch perry is one of the fathers of the dub genre, hes really good, got a couple "best of" cds you should check out.

hmm definitely check out 10ft ganja plant, clinton fearon, akila barret, elijah prophet, and groundation. And one really good song is I love marijuana by Linval Thompson.
