I wouldn't recommend downloading their music. Tool is an amazing band and they have contributed so much to the progressive metal scene that they are respected beyond belief. If you really want to get to know Tool and find their good stuff, just go buy their CDs. Chances are that you will enjoy every one of the CDs. Plus you will know that you gave something back to the band that has given so much already. Tool changed a lot of things about metal.

I too would say buy all the tool albums. You won't be let down, in fact I did the same and have purchased the Lateralus album countless times after losing/scratching a disc.

If you jsut want to download the discography that is understandable though.

If you just want their studio albums- Undertow, Aenema, Lateralus and 10,000 days is what you want but their is more you can get.

Aenema and Lateralus are really my 2 favorite albums, as tool is my favorite band. 10,000 days, the latest effort and probably either 'vicarious' or 'the pot' you heard on the radio, is pretty good I really like it but the other 2 are CLASSIC.

Enjoy the tool.

Tool are amazing!!!

I personally like the Lateralus album the best. But they are all great

Can anyone play their songs on guitar? the time signatures and changes are awesome! And the singers voice just fits perfectly with the sound and feel of the music.

You DO need 750mb of Maynard. Tool is one of the best band of OUR generation IMO. Just light up, sit back and enjoy the greatness of Tool.
