| Hello all! as you can see I'm new here but I figured I'd add a thread about one of my favorite bands and a band I recently had the pleasure of listening to their new cd stoned. Circa survive is the band (hard to guess from my name that I like them) but yeah. If you haven't heard them you should check them out. I don't know how to describe them, they are an experimental indieish kind of progressive ambient rock band. That is such a mess of genres I know but I don't know what else to say. Some of you might be put off by the higher pitched vocals but when high, the fantastic layers to the music just take you away. Your friends are gone, a track from the new cd is one of their best if you have bit torrent or limewire as is In the morning and amazing which can be found at www.myspace.com/circasurvive anyway, next time you have a buzz going put them on, espeically with headphones, so much stuff going on, they are just incredible for a nice upbeat, but chill high listen. hopefully someone will enjoy and I can feel like I had something to add to this forum |

| My friend burned me one of their CDs. I think I listened to it, puked, then stabbed myself in the ears.

| awww thats dissapointing, oh well to each their own, I just got their new CD called "On letting go" and am just memorized by how deep and layered the music is but like I said the vocals are quite unique, still I think they are worth checking out while high, especially this new CD |

| "Yet again I find another thread band that can't get enough credit. Circa Survive are the best, and have the best vocalist ever. At first listen I liked them, but though their songs sounded somewhat the same and such... but after finally realizing that stupid mistake I learned they are one of the funnest bands to sing along to, and just vibe and understand Life with. A+"
