alright, I've been a long-time OiNK.me.uk member, but lost my power user + status for a while, but now I have it back and I get one invite every couple weeks


whoever wants an invite to OiNK's pink palace, an invite-only bittorrent site (music, programs, etc - no games or movies though)

its a huge site with ALOT of seeders - great place to get music if you use bittorrent alot, but make sure you keep a good ratio there


I will get invites regularly - so anyone who wants an invite can post their email, and I'll give them out as I get them

I will only give invites out to people that know and respect the bittorrent community, will share back and keep a good ratio at OiNK

Plenty of people ask me so you should be good... unfortunately Oink hasn't given me any to give out in a while =/ I dunno why maybe it's cause I'm not as active as I used to be. That tends to happen when you lose 20 gigs of music 3 times. lol (Damn you Winblows)

I'd love an invite to try it out but everyone I know who uses Oink is always stressed out because I heard you need to keep uploading stuff to keep downloading stuff. And since I don't really buy any music I don't know how I'd be able to do that. Any insights?

It's easy, and that doesn't kick in til you reach a certain downloaded... you juts need to seed what you leech. And if you need ratio download something that has a lot of leechers.

Oh I didn't know it was seeding I thought you had to upload original content.

Nah.. it works on Seeding/Leeching ratios. Same as on Demonoid. I have a really good ratio on Demonoid. Usually you can get a good ratio just by leaving a download running overnight so that when it finishes, it will continue to upload even after it is done, so you get sometimes end up with more uploaded than downloaded.

Oh well in that case Sneaky I'd love an invite I seed and download alot so I think I'd be a decent addition to tha community.

Oh man. Ive been trying to get on there for a year now. Hardtimez had an account there forever but then it got closed for uploading shit. Ive only recently found demonoid, is there a reason to have both? Like is oink better (more expansive library)?

Demonoid is better for movies, whereas OiNK is strictly music and application.
Not to mention OiNK is incredibly fast most of the time.

I got about a .290 ratio on OiNK, and over a 1.00 on demonoid. Good enough for me.
