alright this weekend was out of the blue, and i cannot beleive how this happened.

so my buddy/roommate was just at work at his restaurant job, and some old jamaican and some guy come in to eat.
my friend says they had a bob marley shirt on and he said to them that he liked it, blah blah blah, he talked to them a little more.
so he finds out that the old jamaican is none other than Aston Barret( bassist, and claims to be the 'leader' of the wailers).
so this other guy is Paul, his helper or whatever tells my friend theyre playing in vegas saturday(twas friday) and he could get him some tickets.
so my friend tells me, and the next morning were finding ourselves 'somewhere on the way to barstow'.
4 hours later and were driving the las vegas strip, get a hotel room, and go to the concert, 'Raggae in the desert'

go to will call, and we got free tickets! not only that but we also got backstage passes, specifically for the wailers.
amazing concert, lots of weed everywhere, and the wailers performance was awesome. their singer is this Israeli guy, and hes amazing!
so we got to meet aston barret and the singer. aston barret was more stoned than ive ever seen.
next day, 4 hours later and were back home again.

damn that was awesome

They do [put a good show on man... Last time they were here, not very long ago they kicked some real ass. But they refused a joint by a guy I know at the end of a show because they were already high and they were putting their equi[pment away. But theya re pretty cool guys.
