| Just got my Amon Amarth ticket yesterday! I'm gonna see them on the 20th at a club that holds maybe 500 people, which should fuckin' rock. Thanks again spiralarchitect and ganjaman for giving me a bunch of bands to check out. btw, Tool used to be metal back on Opiate. But they take a new direction with each album, and it's always good. System of a Down has done the same thing. They were totally metal. Last edited by cepheus : 11-02-2007 at 08:09 PM. |

| I like Meshuggah. I didn't like Catch 33 so much, but I really like the album Nothing, especially the opening track Stengah. I'm not too fond of their mechanical/robot sound but again, they are 'math' orientated metal. Perhaps if you like Meshuggah you would also like the bands High on Fire and Gojira. They are not of the same genre but carry the similar 'mechanical' metal type influences. |
