Any fans of this band here? They are kind of a Southern Stoner Doom Metal. Very good band in my eyes, and have a good reputation in the metal scene.

Ever since I first heard Nola I really liked this band, then Down II : Bustle in your Hedgerow came out and it blew me away. It was an awesome album, they have such a Pantera like sound, yet don't come off brutal - a more mellow metal. I also just read that both of their previous albums will be remastered and re released, that's some good news.

Now Down III : Over the Under is out, well has been out for a while now... I just got it today and am giving it my first listen through, I am on track 3 (N.O.D.) only but I already really like the album. If anyone here is looking for a new band to get into, or any other Down (or similar band) fans tell me what you think of the new/or older albums.
