High-Enhancing Music

What music do you listen to that just enhances your high like a billion percent. I would have to say Dopesmoker I & II by Sleep. Each song is about an hour long, and they're both fucking amazing. Good each one is a real song too, not just several songs strung together like tommy II or 2112.

Listen to whatever you enjoy.
If you enjoy the music, it will enhance your high. If you don't enjoy the music, it will be a big buzzkill.

Well obviously, but thats not always the case. I love DEVO when I'm sober, but the song "Whip It" just bugs me when I'm stoned. And certain songs just make it REAAALLY good.

I enjoy a great variety of music.. Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Karma Police by Radiohead.. there's tons of stuff out there. "Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie is wonderful when stoned/not stoned.. there are so many levels musically to that song..
I also enjoy some older stuff like.. Mellow Yellow by Donovan, Time Has Come Today by The Chambers Brothers, California Dreamin' by The Mamas & the Papas, You're So Vain by Carly Simon, Bus Stop by the Hollies.. all sorts of other stuff that I can't think of right now.
There's a lot of great music out there if you look.

when i was still a new smoker i used to get crazy closed eye visuals when i listened to Tool's album Aenima when i was high

Blasting Rage Against the Machine. I really dont like them too much when sober, but when i blare them while im high, it is just so much better.

If im looking to chill out i go to Sublime, Radio Head, Dispatch, cake, incubus, pearl jam, RHCP

Classic Rock-pink floyd, boston, Led Zeppelin, styx, the who

Good rap music is good too. Not the bad stuff that is just hooks and beats, but rap music with good lyrics that actually mean something.

Wow, I'm completely inversed. I love them when sober, and it bugs me beyond beleif when I'm high.

the only time i enjoyed music differently due to being high was the song "musical episode" by horace andy, it's from the wackies studio which has kind of a weird lo-fi sound that i often have difficulty getting into, but i spun that 12" high once and all the parts of the song just came at like different layers, hard to describe but it was amazing, i rewound it like 15 times after
