It's a Beastie Boys concert video that I just stumbled upon a premium movie channel.

I'm not big into convert videos, as I'd rather see the concert, but this is a whole different idea.
From the Beastie Boys' official website:
It's a killer show. The footage is all random. Some set the time on their camera, others left it as-is. There's shots of the Boys, someone buying a beer, chicks dancing, couples kissing, the back of some guys head and inside the mosh pit.

Yeah, it's hardly new. But it's new to me, and it doth kick ass.

It reminds me of the old Metallica Vid. "Cliff'em All". It was all bootlegged footage of Metallica concert goers, when Cliff Burton was playing for them.

I'll have to tell some friends about this.

Man, I remember hearing about when they were actually making this a while ago. I had totally forgot about it until now. I really like the Beastie Boys, some of their lyrics I don't admire and find really immature (sometimes just stupid ) but they are a pretty good group of musicians. Their newest instrumental album was really great too.

I'll have to check this out Darque, thanks for posting it man. That cover is just hilarious! Do they give a list of the people who were filming in the audience? Wouldn't that be awesome to be one of those selected few.... I know if I was one of the cameramen, their would be a scene or two of me in some hippies bus hitting a bong.

They listed all the camera people in the credits. At the end, the camera people were all hanging around so they could turn them in. Some people were interviewing people, asking what they thought of the show.
One guy hit a joint and exhaled into the camera.

For Intergalactic, the went off stage, took an elevator up into the nosebleed seats and hung out with all the people that couldn't afford the kick ass floor seats...

The show was really good.
When I found it yesterday, I missed the first 15m of it or so, so I found a future showing on the TiVo to record the whole thing.
Online scheduling rocks!
