| Dogs by far...that song trips me out so much. The whole album is good though. Probably their most underrated one. |

| Best. Floyd album. Ever. Great music, great political lyrics, the whole thing is just amazing. I will also have to say Dogs. Gilmour just nails those guitar solos! Blows my mind every time.

| Yup, I'd have to say this is my favorite Pink Floyd album of all time as well. I actually have a Pink Floyd Animals tshirt, and clothe poster of the album cover which is kinda a centerpiece of my posters. It's a great album start to finish, it's hard to pick out a favorite song from the album but I'd say Pigs (Three Different Ones) and Sheep are my favorites from the album. I love the use of the woodblock on Pigs (Three Different Ones). In reality though, I view this album as one song for the most part, considering there is just an intro, outro, and 3 three songs composing of the 'album'. That's just my opinion though. So to truthfully answer the OP, I love the whole album start to finish ![]() However, I remember reading that some of the members of the band commenting on this album and how it was 'really just about nothing' and kind of wasn't a cohesive piece, something to that matter that they didn't like it as much as their other works. Oh yeah, if anyone is a Les Claypool fan check this - the band Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade made a 2 part live disc set of one of their shows, and they actually covered the entire Animals album, down to the exact note almost. It's an amazing rendition, it sounds very much like to the original but it has a kind of different feel, especially with Les's nasaly voice and kind of eccentric jam sound from the band. I HIGHLY recommend it for any fan of Pink Floyd, Claypool, or just good Live albums. ![]() |

| Animals isn't one of my favorite Floyd albums but I'll say either Sheep or Dogs.

| ...and the most overlooked , slept upon and underrated. All of the tracks rock, chrun and weave me into funkdafied bliss. There is no way I can choose just 1 and the album should be enjoyed in it's entirety like one long song. These lyrix are timeless and still speak to the times we are living in today. I think of George Bush whenever I hear Dogs. |
