| Ok so who here lifts and what do you like to listen to? I'm talking about shit that makes you feel like ripping the gym down and beating up old ladies. Those songs that help you squeeze out that last rep. Somehow I get the feeling that this thread isn't going far, so I'll just start with band names. If there is a good response I'll list specific songs complete with youtube vids. Mudvayne Slipknot Iron Maiden Ill Nino Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff (only tolerable song) Papa Roach Hatebreed Machinehead Korn

| Definatley throw some Lamb of God, Pantera, Slayer, Chimera and Judas Priest in there! LOG - As the Palaces Burn, 11th hour, Black Label, Laid To Rest Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone, Walk, I'm Broken, Cowboys From Hell (I could really name as many songs as they've made, but these stand out) Slayer - Angel of Death, Dead Skin Mask, War Ensemble Chimera - Power Trip, Severed Judas Priest - Painkiller, Demonizer, Wheels of Fire, Hellrider (I can't find my priest tunes or else I'd give you a ton more!) |

| Get some Fear Factory, that is good music for lifting weights. Down is probably a good call too, its kind of more mellow metal but it shreds.

| Hell yes! I saw them about a year ago. Probably the best metal act I've seen. I listen to Lamb of God a lot when I lift. -Fear Factory is also a good one spiral, it's not just screaming either...it has some melody to it. Here a few more I listen to when I go to the gym... -Norma Jean -Deftones -Atreyu (not anything from their newest cd though) -Eighteen visions |

| Here are some more, I'm assuming your going for a more melodic metal mix, as oppose to the brutal stuff; Darkest Hour Trivium In Flames Nodes of Ranvier |

| Even though As I Lay Dying is like a Christian-esque/faith-based band (something like that...) I enjoyed their album An Ocean Between Us... I thought it had some killer tracks! |

| Amon Amarth "Thor Arise" good punch-you-in-the-face-for-5-minutes-with-no-relief kinda track, but anything by them is great for gettin' the adrenaline going |

| Amen, Amon Amarth fucking rules. One of my favorite metal bands of all time, they certainly are an adrenaline band, they can shred like the vikings could pillage. ![]() Their newest CD, With Oden on Our Side, was top-notch. I'm gonna add Gojira to this list. Check 'it, now this is some pump-up music; |
