| Music is one of the greatest joys in my life and I have always enjoyed a wide variety of artists and styles. Classical music had always been a "someday" genre for me; something I knew I enjoyed but had not been exposed to much and vowed to explore deeper 'at some point'. Well I have decided to take up the task of exploring this genre after coming across Claude Debussy's Clair de lune, which I loved. I have begun to download Mozart and Beethoven, finding it to be the perfect music to listen to while studying but I have become a little overwhelmed trying to find other composers. Unlike other genres of music I don't know much about classical and have had a hard time trying to decide where to start, as there are many composers from which to choose. I was hoping that some of you could offer suggestions of good classical composers to look into. Personal favorites as well as popular classics would be very much appreciated. |
