Hey Marijuana.com! I'm a long time reader of the forums on this site, but just right now decided to get involved on the forum. I thought "what better place to start than something that I know a lot about?" So I chose music, more specifically classic rock. Does anyone here listen to classic rock while high? If so what are some of the bands? I'll list some of mine: Allman Brothers Band, Bad Company, The Band, The Beatles, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Bob Dylan, Boz Scaggs, Buddy Guy, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Chuck Berry, Cream, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, Donovan, Doobie Brothers, The Doors, ELO, Elvis Costello, Emeson Lake & Palmer, Eric Clapton (with B.B. King, solo, and J.J Cale) Fleetwood Mac, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Frank Zappa, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Grateful Dead, The Guess Who, Hot Tuna, J.J Cale, James Gang, Jerry Garcia, Jethro Tull, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh, John Fogerty, Johnny Winter, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Leftover Salmon, Leon Russell, Little Feat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Mammas & The Poppas, The Marshall Tucker Band, Meat Loaf, Metallica, Moby Grape, Molly Hatchet, The Moody Blues, Mountain, Neil Young, Nirvana (not really classic, but still), Outlaws, Pink Floyd, Queen, Robert Plant, The Rolling Stones, Santana, Steely Dan, Steppenwolf, SRV & Double Trouble, Ted Nugent, Ten Years After, Them, Traffic, The Velvet Underground, The Zombies, and finally Z.Z Top. Anything that you guys listen to that you could suggest? (I know, I was born in the wrong decade)

I am quite burnt out on the classic rock that gets played on radio stations constantly. So I have been seeking out other stuff. Might I suggest Mott the Hoople's "Brain Capers"? It's a very solid rock album that you probably haven't heard.

A very nice list, I am a big fan of classic rock, lately a lot of classic 60's music, Syd Barrett, Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground, Loads of Jimi Hendrix and the like. Have to say I think the Velvet Underground are my current favourites.

That's a tough one, King Crimson, still not sure if I can bear to listen to them. Upon first hearing "21st Century Schitzoid Man" I remember shouting "That's not a band its a madman with a saxophone" Some weird sounds coming out of that band. I did like Moonchild though.

| yeah, I'm a big fan of the classic rock, hell what they call classic now is what I grew up on and still listen to. All great bands Ranger. How about some ol' time metal like Judas Priest and Scorpions and of course The Who. ...and Maiden, gotta have some Iron Maiden.
