actually yes. The shows started more than 2 hours apart.I have seen MegaDeth and In Flames, so I stayed for Job4acowboy and High On Fire and then walked over to the Ogden Theater (Right across the street) and saw The last song in hemlock's set and then Meshuggah and Ministry.

well then I am confused no more. JFAC was pretty weak but the rest of that show rocked. My only complaint is that megadeth was almost too loud and you couldn't really hear the singing. One of the best parts of the show was during the last intermission they played Walk on the PA and the whole place went nuts. Everyone was singing every lyric and headbanging, I have never seen a crowd do anything like this.

Have you heard Chaosphere? If you can find me a heavier album, I'll give you 66.10 grams.
Yeah, I have heard Chaosphere. Many times in fact.

Why don't you try out 2 of my favorite metal acts : Necrophagist and Rotting Christ.

They blow Meshuggah right out of the friggin' water in terms of 'heaviness'.

And make that 66.6 grams please, and thank you.

There are many bands I would consider 'heavier' than messhugah. Necrophagist is a great example of one and there are tons of other bands out there too. They have a sweet bassist which is kind of a rare find in this genre.

Yeah, Necrophagist's bassist blows my mind. I would love to just have all the bass tracks for their songs, when I get really baked I zone into the bass and I'm just like "Whoa -- this guy is playing on a whole 'nother dimension"

I don't know if anyone is fans of Byzantine or Dead To Fall, but those bands have both recently broken up. I just thought I would throw that out there. Oddly enough, they both released new (and I must say, on par and above) albums right before breaking up -- it makes me think they were all in it for the money, or weren't a real 'band'.
