I Like HCP

I'd heard of this band but never bothered listening to them until I read this thread a week or so ago and decided to get the album Closer to the Sun. I have to say man, first of all thanks for recommending them.... been jammin that album all week, alot of great chill songs on there, I really like their sound. Nothing better then finding an all around great album with more then just a couple good songs.

Really diggin Fat Spliffs, This Joint, Older, Aint got alot of money, Closer to the Sun, Open Road... fuck, basically every song

So has anyone checked out their new cd? Slightly not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid. It originally came out as an EP in '05 with 7 songs. But it just came out a month or so ago with 14 new tracks. I really enjoy the cd, but I wouldn't put it up there with Closer to the Sun or Everything You Need. Honestly, most of the songs I like are the original 7 from the EP. But still it's an awesome listen, especially while passing around a joint with some friends...This song rocks.

Slightly Stoopid is the shit. Easily one of my top 10 favorite bands. Be sure to listen to their different albums, as they all have a unique style. Recently, I saw them with Pepper at my first outdoor concert. It was cool; everyone was just baked as hell, joints were being passed like crazy, Stoopid was jamming on stage, doing all this psychedelic shit... I felt like I was back in the 60's.

Hell yes I am a fan. I haven't seen them live, but they will be in my town Halloween night. What what!
