I don't know man. The quality of music like Tupac, Dre, Easy E don't play that shit anymore. But, back in the day I hated rap. I hated MTV because all they played was rap. But, I really just opened my ears to explore more. Wayne was one of the first that I started liking. But, some of his shit is kinda out there. And your like, "What did he just say?". I don't know where I'm going with this, so I'll put the blunt down and come back to this when I am a little more sober and can feel my face.

Personally, I pretty much agree with everyone else's posts on Wayne, he's good when he wants to be and out there the rest (blame both on that purple stuff lol). Two problems with the whole Lil Wayne situation, one about him and one about his fans...The reason I can't call him the Greatest Rapper Alive, or just one of my favorites is because he's not consistant enough for me...like someone said before, he floods the streets wit so much shit that u hear more bull that quality music (gift and a curse, depending on how well u like him). Another thing I believe that contributes to his drop in quality lately is the fact that so many people have been riding his dick all crazy lately...the Greatest Rapper of All Time?? (and I have heard this plenty of times from plenty of people, real sad if u ask me). I feel this gives him the gall to say some of the dumb shit he says and make the bullshit that he makes. Now don't get me wrong, he still manages to spit some alright shit, just not enough for me to consider him a great. Aight, now that that's off my chest, back to the blunt lol.

I used to like Lil Wayne before he decided to put shit lyrics to every damn beat he can find. He still puts out a good track here and there, but even when he does I find them unlistenable because his horrible voice and the aforementioned shit lyrics and reused beats have already ruined all of his new music for me before it's released.

And that "Best Rapper Alive" bullshit is just stupid.
