Have you ever noticed in Lil' Wayne songs he always throws in little laughs and giggles and shouts - that shit gets annoying after awhile.

I do like Lil' Wayne his stuff is good, but he is too played out now. Like the song Lolipop and A Millie got played the fuck out. Listen to the radio and you'll hear it being played on every hip-hop station 50 times a night.

What??? Lil Wayne is a "Down South" rapper, and his sound is quite unique. I seriously doubt a rapper from NOLA intentionally ripped off a "Philly" sound.

I go to school in NOLA so I actually saw wayne live and the performance sucked (terrible concert venue). Some of his stuff is really good but most of it sounds a little amateurish. Best concert I saw this year was the roots front row at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Jazz fest is the best concert I have ever been to... highly recommend going for anyone who can.

Sweet deal man, I have lived in NOLA my entire life. I also have heard that waynes concerts aren`t the best. I have seen the roots twice before jazz fest. Catch a real show, one where they play for 2+ hours.

I personally like voodoo fest better. Better music, not as hot, better wheather.

why hate on him for doing what a lot of other rappers are doing?- there are several big name artists who are doing exactly what lil wayne is doing- so why single him out?

you are right that he is using other peoples' beats and just making his own lyrics over them-- and guess what? the hilarious part is that most of these "remixes" are better than the original songs!! so if you can take someone else's song/beat and make it better, you are doing less work and still making a profit, and that is called working smarter as opposed to harder.

frankly i hope he makes a remix of every single song ever written for all i care- he'll still be one of the greatest rappers ever in my opinion.
