Also, stop with the mother fuckin similies. Just cause you thought of one while you were ruining someone else's beats, doesnt mean it needs to go in that song. Spit some relevant content to what youre rapping about. You could take anyone of your similies or metaphors, put it anywhere in any of your other million songs, and nobody would be able to tell the difference.

Oh yea, I got on my rant there and forgot to give him props where props is due. Up until The Carter 2, maybe Like Father Like Son, Lil Wayne was sickwitit.
Fuck man I feel you like you wouldn't believe. Carter 1/2, the dedication series, and whatnot he fucking killed it. Now he's trash and the funny thing is the hype just keeps growing! I just ran thru tha carter 3 and its without a doubt one of the worst albums of the year. I don't even like jay z but mr carter is by far the best track and wayne gets killed on it. He needs to lay off the codeine and the mixtape game and move on. And word on his similes, except they used to be sick and now they are just getting worse and worse. Case and point, 'a milli." God damn man if you listen to that song while reading the lyrics, its fucking laughable how geeked his is these days. I'm not gonna give up on him until dedication 3 but wow has he fallen. The sad thing is the farther he falls, the more people like him for some inexplicable reason.

To compare all of those rappers is just stupid. Each of those have very unique sounds, each are from other parts of the country where the rap scene is different. Me being from NOLA and basically grew up listening to cash money (particularly Juvenile, Wayne and B.G.). I personally don't mind rappers talking about stuntin'. I do enjoy all the rappers that you listed, but it is a bit different for me. I understand where Wayne is coming from, the killings, guns, money, are all very real

And to answer you original question ADIDAS, I do think he is a better rapper than those you mentioned, maybe besides Nas. Wu is very good, but a bit raw. Never liked Jay-z, and rakim is solid at best.

my $0.02

Perhaps these people dont feel he is "falling." When an artist is growing more popular, its usually a logical sign that he is doing better, not doing worse...

Have you listened to the radio lately? Checked billboard charts? Hey I'll do it for ya a quick look at the billboard charts shows that the top 2 albums for the week are Usher's new ringtone catalog and the soundtrack for Sex and the City the movie. Well hey that must means that they are ill albums right!?!

Fact is there is a sizable proportion of fuckheads living in our society and I refuse to allow their concepts of what is good to have an influence on my own.

Your preaching to the choir bro, I love that song and album. What I said is that Lil Wayne right now is nowhere near the Lil Wayne of a few years ago.

Maybe he needs Gillie to ghostwrite for him again....... =)

Good one. I totally agree with you. I misunderstood what you were trying to get across. Have you heard the song Wayne did with Bun B on II Trill? Its call "Damn Im Cold"

Not yet man I'm dling II Trill right now so I'll have to check it out. Really the only song I could stomach on Tha Carter III was Shoot Me Down and it was mostly due to Kanye's impeccable production than weezy's rappin.

PS: On the subject of Bun B's new joint did anyone see they finally released the Pimp C autopsy report? Turns out it was sizzurp damn it =/

No joke huh? I figured it would be that, possibly cocaine. Yeah II Trill has some nice songs on it. The song with Sean Kingston has a nice beat, and the song with Lupe is TIGHT!! Just got Lupe's new disc and was pretty pleased.

Thats kinda creepy, did they just release this or something? I was talking with my boys yesterday and one of them was saying that it was the sizzurrrp... also said Bun wont rap about that shit anymore.

Ye` has some production on the Carter III? Might have to dl it just for that. Although that Mr. Carter beat is sooooo sick, too bad Jay killt Wayne on his own shit, and Jays wasnt even that good.
