Yeah I heard it a while back. It streamed in its entirety on their Myspace page. I should pick it up though, they have a good sound -- and the title to the album is great, haha!

I hadn't really listened to Atmosphere before this album, I only knew they were from Minnesota, anyone good any of their previous work that really shines?

Made it through the album, fucking great. Production is so solid.

Previous work, tons. Off the top of my head... Smart Went Crazy, Sunshine that should sway you enough there.

Thanks, I thought those were albums you mentioned and was frantically searching, then I realized they were songs, hahaha. I'm just acquiring his discography, I'll let you know what I think

Audio

I love atmosphere, slug is one of my favorite rappers and ant makes sick beats(he also makes the beats for brother ali). Listened to the new album many times already, Painting is a sick track, also Guarantees and In Her Music Box are awesome. This album actually got on the top 10 albums in itunes for a little bit, thought that was pretty cool for non-commercialized hip-hop. Also the DVD that comes with it of a live show is pretty sick, def. watch the whole thing if you have it, you can really feel the energy from slug and the band just by watching it.

As for old atmosphere stuff I really like Headshots, got Deer Wolf, Abusing of the Rib, and I Wish Those Cats at Fobia Would Give Me Some Free Gear on that album.

Word. Painting is soooooo sick. Reminds me a lot of the Canibus track "Get Retarded". Yea, ant really pulls it off here. The production on here is just soooooo sick. Thats tight about the itunes shit though, who wouldve ever thought. Im gonna go out and buy this album probably, gotta support the underground.
Also a song thats worthy of mentioning on this album is Yesterday. Such a beautiful thing.

Yeah, I got his discography. I just have been busy listening to other stuff, I will be in the hiphop mood mid-afternoon, right now it's The Good, The Bad, and the Queen. haha I'll let you know what I think fo sho tho

Equilibrium

I actually did not like his new album...... it just seems way too much like his last album "strictly leakage" which in my opinion sucked balls....I think he has just done almost too much shit already.and his style just seems to have changed.

His old shit is fucking sick like "Hells Playground" and the stuff he was making around that time hes still a dope MC and his classic shit is some of my favorite music, but when i hear some of his new shit i just say what the fuck is this....

imma have to give this album a 3/10

I'm behind the times...I never gave Atmosphere much of a chnce in the past. However, recently I've been listening to him more and more, and liking what I hear. Along with Mac Lethal, I'm glad I gavce'em a second chance. I must have been in a different place taste-wise when listening to them in the past

I now have a another favorite music group. I caught a few songs on youtube, and I am currently downloading the CD's now. Thanks bro.

I really like the dark style beats. Very original.
