Weed - Synthetic Marijuana… Panic Its Far From Organic

30 years have passed and the United States has employed a ‘war on drugs’ that has only filled prisons and skeptical public safety advantages. Imprisoning so many individuals for low-degree drug possessions with a variety of counterproductive repercussions will discourage the evolution of our society. A curse has been inflicted on the lives of many people creating unnecessary criminals records – making it hard for people to find work and housing moving forward.

Middle 20th Century – give or take – Legal marijuana has been deprived from us, causing numerous adverse consequences which include the increase of cancer cases, the large spike of imprisoned citizens and the outrageous cost of healthcare.

All 420-friendly advocates know marijuana is among the more widely popular drugs on this green earth, having names as “weed,” “pot,” “herb,” just to name a few. Whatever the moniker, law enforcement officials have stood by their claims of marijuana being a gateway drug that can open Pandora’s Box of more abusive substances. This leads to the aggressive pursuit and prosecution of marijuana offenders no matter the amount – 0.01 grams or 10 tons.

Late June, 2012 – An aromatic sativa blend circulates through the air. The trend cultivating throughout the nation is leaning towards the pro-marijuana side and stoners couldn’t be happier. Various states have MMJ laws in place enabling patient’s legal and easy access to treat their medical ailments.

While cannabis is still check-marked as illegal, it remains among one of the least harmful substances to man – Not 1 death has been claimed from marijuana – However, man-made LEGAL substitutes are not as safe….

Synthetic marijuana is a chemically made product which mimics real marijuana and THC, which is the main chemical found in this plant. Fake pot is surrounded with controversy because the product contains no chemicals found in actual cannabis. It’s produced from natural herbs blanketed with synthetic chemicals; so when ingested, it’s similar to the euphoric effects of real weed. Purchased under the disguise of items as incense and bath salts – it’s sold under names as K2 and Spice.

Interestingly, synthetic pot isn’t as benign as it real prototype. These lab-made recipes are quite addictive and deadly. WHY? They are laced with cathinones or cannabinoids — manufactured chemicals with hazardous side effects.

Reports reveal synthetic marijuana could lead to extreme nausea, seizures, vomiting, paranoia, violent behavior and hallucinations with studies showing it’s linked with psychosis and the exacerbation of psychotic behavior. Numerous deaths have attributed to the drug due to drug poisoning. Marketed as being “100% Organic Herbs,” they are sticking to their guns as being natural and safe…

Texas. Police reported to a call of a man “losing his mind and going crazy” in a Texas home. While high on the synthetic cannabis K2, Michael Terron Daniel chased a neighbor while mimicking a dog – on his hands and knees growling. When police arrived, Daniel was found drenched in blood, holding the dog with reports of him eating the poor animal.

California. Authorities arrested a man who assaulted an elderly couple in California while under the effects of Spice, another wannabe marijuana. Matthew See assaulted an elderly couple with attempts of robbery. Police found the ‘zombie’ rambling incoherently and drenched in sweat.

Do people on actual ‘Mary Jane’ act like this?

Miami. Rudy Eugene was caught assaulting a homeless man. This ghoulish assault ended with Rudy chewing off segments off the vagabonds face and later being killed by police. Eugene’s girlfriend is convinced his actions were the result of a ‘supernatural’ event. “Somebody did something to him, somebody put something on him. I know for sure that wasn’t Rudy,” Cross said.

After an autopsy, it was found Eugene was not on any hard-controlled substances which authorities believed he was on a synthetic marijuana. Medical examiners also said, “They’re creating so many different synthetic-type drugs or synthetic bath salts to where you don’t have a test to actually examine or test for these substances,”

Synthetic marijuana users are individuals that want to abide by the law, fearing repercussions from authorities. Well, people do not like to go to jail. Citizens shouldn’t deserve a detriment upon their well-being for doing so. This matter shouldn’t exist at all – We shouldn’t be subjected with choices of legality and harm. This is an unjust and immoral decision to push to the public – The Free Market doesn’t work like that.

When you had to go to speak-easy’s for a drink and Alcohol Prohibition was the land of the law, there was a disregard for law enforcement and a setting conducive to danger and crime – which again exists today. The Prohibition on Marijuana is the reason why the Drug Cartel’s are providing a much safer product than what you can find in the store. Hopefully marijuana will be legalized sooner than later, it’s just a matter of public regard and health…

Its funny how the government can waste money trying to fight a plant that can treat so many diseases yet they put this spice and fake weed, I have had more than 2 friends try that legal shit and end up throwing up in the bathroom and having seizures.

“Research on the safety of synthetic cannabis is only now becoming available. Initial studies are focused on the role of synthetic cannabis and psychosis. It seems likely that synthetic cannabis can precipitate psychosis and in some cases it is prolonged. These studies suggest that synthetic cannabinoid intoxication is associated with acute psychosis, worsening of previously stable psychotic disorders, and also may have the ability to trigger a chronic (long-term) psychotic disorder among vulnerable individuals such as those with a family history of mental illness.”
