Weed - Mothers Milk Is High In Cannabinoids

…No Wonder They Nap So Well After Breast Feeding

Deep in the ancient primordial soup – that is the human body – exist a complex web of naturally occurring proteins, identified as “cannabinoid receptors.” These receptors are believed to be our bodies way of specifically processing the many cannabinoids that humans have been ingesting for thousands of years, most notably THC – or tetrahydrocannabinol.

As any good Stoner knows, ‘THC’ is the main psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana… So the fact that our body has created ‘cannabinoid receptors’ – to process these wonderful healing elements, is a beautiful hint that this plant is a key, to our lock on good health.

Further evidence of the hand –n- glove fit of marijuana — its cannabinoids, and the human body: a group of studies that showed human breast milk, as naturally containing many of the same “active cannabinoids” which are known to be in marijuana and have proven to be essential – to critical human development.

Through these studies they’ve identified that cannabinoid receptors exist within the cell membranes in the human body. Noting – that when the cannabinoid receptor has been properly activated by the introduction of cannabinoids and a few other varying substances; they become Super cannabinoid receptors, and protect our bodies from viruses, malignancies, harmful bacteria, as well as many forms of cancer.

One of the more interesting side benefits from these studies was the discovery of human breast milk being high in endocannabinoids. One of the more basic functions that a newborn infant must perform, in order to survive the first few days of life, is to learn to suckle at their mother’s breast. These endocannabinoids provide vital building blocks for the young human’s development, known as “neuromodulator lipid.” Source

While most might get a ‘chuckle’ out of seeing their buddy getting a solid case of the munchies, after smoking some good pot — for all newborn infants these cannabinoids serve a much more life affirming role.

If not for these cannabinoids found in their mother’s breast milk; infants would struggle in learning to eat, they would suffer from a life-threatening lack of appetite…resulting in the malnourishment of the all infants. As the CB1 cannabinoid receptors have been activated by the endocannabinoids in the mother’s milk, it is these very receptors that are so critical in the learning process of suckling. Source

The overall potential medical ramifications for these cannabinoid discoveries are incredibly wide in their scope – and further – suggest a growing future for cannabinoids for the use in pediatric medicine.

I have always felt in my heart that marijuana was good & not like other drugs whether legal or illegal. This information only confirms what i have felt & argued for my entire life.

Yea I know, I’ve always had that feeling in my heart so strongly no matter what people try to put in my head, its unfortunate that so many people have cognotive dissonance with the subject so its too difficult to reason or argue.

This is old news. Yes he should have cited but we have known for years about this. The Endocannabinoid system is all over our body but concentrated in 3 major areas. The brain, immune system, and reproductive system. Yes Cannabinoids, that are also in Marijuana, that have the perfect balance for our bodies…Not only is part of how you are conceived but also how we develop as babies. Cannabis FTW!!

This quote seems a little short sighted… how do they explain formula fed infants that have no problems learning to eat?

“If not for these cannabinoids found in their mother’s breast milk; infants would struggle in learning to eat, they would suffer
from a life-threatening lack of appetite…resulting in the malnourishment of the all infants. As the CB1 cannabinoid receptors

      Valid point.

I believe that THC could be beneficial but I would like to know facts and the correct benefits.
So to the writer, get the facts straight and rewrite this article :) throwing around a bunch of marijuana related words isn’t going to sway opposing beliefs. As a believer in the benefits of cannabis I’m disappointed.

Formula is basically synthetic breast milk. Think of it like spice, which is basically synthetic weed hahaha
