One thing that is to me the most true saying ion the world: "The only thing standing in the way of my learning, is my education." Thus, school is the most pointless thing on this planet, but without, nobody will ever give you a job. I wish that I could focus on a specific field, but I am forced to go through school. I am stuck with a curriculum in which there is more maths than any of my other subjects COMBINED, while I am a right brained person, this is devastating. I have finished all my other subjects, which I have only done once a week each, but I have done maths EVERY DAY twice as much as all my other subjects combined, and I am still only half way. This frustrates me since I am deprived of the knowledge which I seek, and pumped full of the knowledge which I do not seek, leaving no room in my mind for the knowledge I truly have a longing for. I am a more philosophical person, and I despise logic, but I am forced into this left brain society. If I had my way I would only learn the amount of maths I need to function properly in society, and focus on my philosophical studies and my studies of the power of nature, not some irrelevant figures invented by man. I have no problem with learning maths in moderation, but I am stuck with so much of it that all my energy, and the energy he who teaches me (my grandfather, who was the head of education in the free state, which is a state in South Africa), is drained and we cannot function properly any longer. Our brains cannot take it any longer, but if we would not be able to change curriculums at this point in time, otherwise we would have to start the entire phase all over again (3 years work.) and that is not an option. I feel like I am about to explode and I can not take it any longer.
